Rope Bondage

I love rope.
I love rope bondage.
I love tying people up with rope bondage.
Simple.

Well, yes and no.

Tying someone up with rope his dangerous. It’s stressful on the body, especially if you use a stress position, or suspend someone either partially or completely. Plus, get a rope in the wrong place on the body and you could compress nerves, restrict breathing or strangle someone.

But having said all that, that’s why I spend a lot of time practising tying people up. A lot of time. Hours and hours.

If you come to see me for a restrictive rope bondage session, we won’t be doing any suspension or edgy play the first time. I need to know you are fairly fit, healthy and your body can cope with the stresses rope bondage puts on you.
How flexible are you? How much exercise do you do? How is your fitness?
Now this doesn’t mean you have to be a stick insect, who weighs almost nothing and can get your legs behind you head. But I have to be sure, before I tie you so tightly you can’t move, that you’re not going to peg out on me. That would be inconvenient, to say the least!

So a first session, assuming you have done little or no rope at all, will be about which rope we use (soft cotton = no marks or tougher rope such as jute = some marks for a couple of hours)
We will do some basic chest ties, which restrict your arms. Maybe a soft hogtie (i.e. legs bent up but not a severe angle)
I will check your fingers for colour and movement every few minutes. I will check you can give me a ‘thumbs up’ which is a sign your hands are all working correctly. I will check your heart rate and breathing frequently too.

I may do a standing position wit you, with one leg off the floor. Or have you up on tip toes for a minute or two. Or lie you on your side and make it impossible to lift a finger.

In short, it will be an explorative, easy session.

Even if you have done some rope work, it will be your first time with ME. So it will still be explorative and in effect, easy.

Now if you love rope, and go gooey at it being pulled across your body, or weak at the knees when a bit of hemp rope ties up your hands, you will understand why I go easy on a first session.

Your health, safety and sanity are of the utmost importance to me.
Get through one session, and we can talk about how you felt, plus I can give you my observations on how I think you did.
If it’s all good then we progress.
Then, over a few sessions, we move onto harsh stress work, suspension, difficult positions… in fact, we can do anything and everything.

But the first time…we won’t. In a first session I will size you up. Because I want you to be safe and walk out in the same state you walked in.

That’s important to me, and it should to you too.
